We’re searching for an experienced Category Specialist to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.

**About the Role**

A great opportunity to join our merchandising team, as a Category Specialist you’ll be partnering with the Category Lead to manage stakeholder relationships across supply chain, which includes our domestic and international suppliers. Your role is focused on optimising our product portfolio in our Bathroom and Kitchen range, while maintaining profitability in line with our strategic goals. As part of your induction, we’ll get you to spend some time working in our branch network to gain a greater understanding of our products and services.

Responsibilities include:

- Helping to drive product innovation and development; managing products from concept to launch, collaborating with key stakeholders to bring things to life
- Providing reporting and insights on category portfolios (using Excel and Power BI); analysing results to provide updates on trends and other impacts
- Having the customer at the heart of everything you do, helping us build customers for life at Reece

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience working in retail, procurement, supply chain, marketing or ideally in a similar role in category management - along with some experience working in B2B trade environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge and expertise
- A positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and products
- Strong relationship building skills, you’ll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliers
- Good excel and Power BI skills
- Business or Marketing degree qualification
