CORE College when registered with ASQA will run under our corporate company located in South West Sydney. We have many years experience working in the education and training field, partnering with local RTO's and GTO's to assist the community. We are looking for someone that has experience in managing a RTO and has the leadership capacity to start up this business.
**Description**:
This position will oversee and facilitate all RTO accredited courses run by CORE under the CORE RTO ASQA registration and have authority for the standard and content of all training and assessment conducted either directly or under the approved auspices of CORE College.
Ensure all logístical, administrative, and training operations at the RTO are carried out to achieve an outstanding student experience and compliance with legislative requirements as specified by ASQA and other governing bodies.
**Specifically the position will**:
1. Ensuring the RTO meets all regulatory requirements of ASQA and state regulators.
2. Monitoring the RTO's compliance with the AQF and VET Quality Framework and meets the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 across all of its operations and in all of its training and/or assessment activities, including those undertaken by other persons or bodies on its behalf.
3. Establishing, implementing, and reviewing organisational policies, procedures and continuous improvement programs to ensure quality and compliance.
4. Ensure that all training and assessment plans and tools, curriculum and training packages meet the Standards and packaging rules.
5. Provide leadership, oversight and coordination of VET courses, including the design and review of course curriculum, management, and supervision of education and training Staff/Trainers & Assessors.
6. Provide leadership and supervision to the CORE College Team including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, mentoring, work plans and learning objectivities.
7. Develop compliance monitoring plans based on legislative and regulatory requirements.
8. Manage the development, implementation and review of learning resources including training and assessment strategy for individual programs, plans, learner support process, assessment systems and tools, program evaluation and feedback instruments, and reporting processes.
9. Develop business networks with local businesses, Job Active Providers, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide ASQA with accurate and timely information regarding registration and compliance (including major changes to the institute’s system or staffing profile, relocation of the training centre, financial difficulties and transfer of student records).
**Skills and Experiences**:
1. A minimum of a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
2. Have at least four years of RTO compliance management experience, including direct management of staff.
3. High level interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Capacity in strategic and operational business planning, quality assurance, risk management, compliance and policy development.
5. Professional knowledge of the current standards for RTOs and experience working with VET regulators and related authorities.
6. Experience in marketing and/sales in corporate environment and working with government funded programs.
7. Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic partnerships, business planning, education, people, and financial management.
8. Experience in a fee for service enterprise and the ability to run a success business using commercial and financial acumen.
