About You
You are a strategic leader with expertise in regulatory compliance and program management, particularly within the non-state schooling sector. You possess in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and risk-based frameworks, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Experienced in managing large-scale programs, you ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement. Your strong communication skills enable you to lead teams confidently and provide expert guidance on complex issues. Committed to ethical practices, staff wellbeing, and fostering a collaborative culture, you excel in problem-solving, decision-making, and achieving transparent regulatory outcomes. Your dedication to professional development ensures the continued success of the Registration Services team.
Your Opportunity
As the Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the development and continuous improvement of NSSAB's annual programs within Registration Services (RS). In this key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality corporate, administrative, and operational support to the Board, while providing strategic guidance across several areas including program management, financial oversight, correspondence management, and secretariat services.
Responsibilities include:
Contributing to the development of strategies for regulatory decision-making across all legal frameworks.
Managing policy, procedure, and process initiatives to improve regulatory practices in line with risk-based frameworks.
Undertaking complex regulatory tasks, making recommendations, and supporting decision-making under legislative frameworks.
Developing innovative solutions for high-performance regulatory outcomes.
Ensuring effective record keeping while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Providing high-level documentation to support regulatory and executive decisions.
Offering expert advice to the RS Leadership team, stakeholders, and the public.
Contributing to a professional team environment, promoting ethical behaviour, wellbeing, and continuous development.
Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive impactful change, and ensure the Branch's regulatory practices are innovative, efficient, and aligned with strategic priorities.
