EMP Supports opened its doors in July 2021, with a mission to provide only the best disability support services for NDIS clients, focused on promoting choice & control.
The company started out as just one employee, the CEO & Founder, Emily Perkins, and is now extremely proud of it’s consistent and rapid year on year growth.
At EMP Supports, choice and control is our primary focus. This means allowing our participants to have the right to make their own decisions about what is important to them and to decide how they would like to receive their supports and who from.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the EMP Supports Head Office team, including managing calendars, creating documents, creating invoices, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Greet and assist clients & visitors in a warm, professional manner.
- Learn the functions of each department within our organisation.
- Share in a cyclic on-call roster for out of hours support line with your fellow office colleagues.
- Manage client inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff while maintaining high standards of customer service and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client information, appointments, and other relevant data.
**We are looking for someone who is**:
- Dedicated to undertake and complete Certificate III or IV in Business Administration.
- A team player who is versatile, intuitive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and external partners.
- Committed to delivering a high level of support whilst maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Confident and capable using systems and technology.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

At the end of your traineeship, you will have developed strong working relationships with participants, their stakeholders and our internal team, by providing them with the support services they need, and you will have played a key role in supporting and helping our business grow.

This position would be ideal for an HSC school leaver or someone who is wanting to change careers with a **genuine interest in starting their career in Community Services**, looking to make a difference in the disability support services industry.
