**About the Role**
The Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Officer (permanent, part-time 0.6FTE) plays a vital role within the People & Culture team, coordinating occupational health and safety (OHS) and wellbeing initiatives while also supporting general P&C administrative functions. This position helps ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies, fosters a safe and positive workplace culture, and contributes to the smooth delivery of processes within a small, collaborative team.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate the College’s OHS Committee and support compliance with WHS legislation and internal policies.
- Manage the College’s Risk Register and support WorkCover and ACC claims processes.
- Coordinate OHS training, inductions, and emergency response activities.
- Lead the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives that promote a safe, healthy workplace.

**What You'll Bring**
- Cert IV Work Health & Safety or relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role (essential).
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline or equivalent experience (highly regarded).
- Willingness to travel across Australia & New Zealand, as required.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
**Some of What’s on Offer**:
- A Total Remuneration Package (TRP) of up to $85,000.00 (pro-rata) is on offer, inclusive of leave loading and 11.5% superannuation.
- Hybrid working arrangements.
- A paid day off each month for full-time employees (pro-rata).
- 12 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers.
