**Partnerships Manager**

**What can you expect?**
- In this newly created role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective oversight and management of distribution and insurance partners in the partnerships channel of Mercer Super.
- The Partnership Manager is responsible for the coordination of relationship and operational governance between Mercer and key partners, managing and reporting on performance, reviewing processes and procedures to ensure that agreed service levels, contractual and legislative obligations are met to drive maximum value from the relationship, and support Mercer Super's risk monitoring obligations.
- Your proactive management of ongoing commercial relationships ensures that any technical or contractual issued are addressed and that commercial conversations are escalated to the appropriate level to ensure prompt resolution of issues. Working with Partnership Managers you will prepare compliance and governance reporting to the Board, Board sub-committees, internal and external management committees.

**We will count on you to**:

- Governance - Leading the governance of the TAL partnership including the operations of the: Partnership Meetings, Operational Review Committee, quarterly Joint Management Committees and annual Strategic Planning, regular and annual reporting to relevant Boards and Committees. Providing input on strategy generation or capacity management processes.
- Performance Management - Managing vendor performance through service level and legislative reporting, monitoring and trending. Providing dashboard reporting.
- VRO - Be the dedicated Vendor Relationship Owner (VRO) to manage vendor risks as outlined in Mercer, and Marsh McLennan policies and procedures. Performing risk management analysis of vendors and partners.
- Contract Management - ensuring obligations and deliverables are managed, tracked and reported.
- Finance and commercial - Ensuring financial control through finance & invoicing management.
- Issue & dispute management - Ensuring disputes are managed, tracked, documented and resolved. Manage contract issues through robust implementation of frameworks.
- Request Management - Reviewing new service requests & analysing against contract. Integration of approved service requests into VM processes.

**What you need to have:
- RG146 required
- Experience in managing complex vendors across the Superannuation and Insurance Industry, and the regulatory environment in which it operates.
- Experience in managing high value and strategically important contracts.
- Ability to liaise with a range of senior stakeholders and influence them to drive appropriate change
- Experience in vendor governance and management using contemporary vendor management tools
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Insurance background preferred
- Advanced oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Cross-functional collaboration (internally & externally)
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Prioritisation, time management and project management
