**People and Culture Trainee**
- Have you just finished high school and looking for a rewarding start to a career in Business?_

**Position Objective**:

- Administrative support function to help People and Culture team
- Part of a traineeship opportunity including a Certificate III of Business Administration

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Attend local government seminars
- Work alongside the OHS team and provide assistance to other departments as required
- Record matters using internal reporting systems as required

**About you**:

- Knowledge in the MS Office Suite
- Reliable, punctual and have a willingness to learn
- Written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to contribute positively in a team environment
- Good communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to plan and manage own time

**Requirements for the role**:

- As part of the recruitment process a police check will be undertaken alongside reference checks
- Reliable, punctual and have the willingness to learn
- Good communication, organisation and administrative skills
- Written communication skills in order to prepare correspondence
- An interest in local government and passionate about working with people
- Must be double vaccinated against COVID19 and able to provide proof of vaccination
