An exciting opportunity is now available for a Cyber Awareness Advisor to join our Cyber Security Education and Awareness team within the Cyber Security and Risk domain at Suncorp. Our focus is on the human side of Cyber Security, and our purpose is to keep Suncorp secure while enabling our Business Strategy. Our people are Suncorp’s first line of defence We believe that cyber security is everyone’s business, and as a team, we drive the Cyber Security Education and Awareness program across Suncorp at all levels of the organisation.

This is a multifaceted role where you will:

- Be the face of the ‘Security Front Door’ function, where you will triage and manage all enquiries that come to the Cyber Security and Risk domain from teams across the broader Suncorp Group and provide support and guidance.
- Actively build relationships with internal Suncorp teams to become their trusted advisor
- Drive all Cyber Security communications for the Cyber Security and Risk domain
- Focus on continuously improving the user experience.

**What you’ll do**
- Be a trusted advisor and ‘the face’ of the Security Front Door function.
- Triage all requests that come through the Security Front Door and support and manage the process through to completion, with the support of the broader Cyber Security and Risk domain.
- Provide end-to-end guided assistance for customers to ensure meaningful assistance.
- Proactively collaborate with customers on their strategy and goals to continuously improve security outcomes for Suncorp.
- Proactively seek early visibility of security risks across the business to ensure effective and efficient security solutions.
- Be a key driver to promote and cultivate a security focused culture and mindset.
- Assist the Cyber Security Awareness Manager with all activities that form part of the Security Front Door capability at Suncorp.

**What you’ll bring**
- Familiarity with Australian regulatory & legislative compliance requirements such as APRA, Privacy Act and PCI
- Experience in communications, awareness and change management, customer experience or related disciplines.
- Technology experience in large enterprises, preferably financial services
- General knowledge of the tools, tactics, techniques, and processes of attackers is desirable.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Passion for Cyber Security education and awareness, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Previous experience working within an agile environment.
