**The Role**
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts receivable & payable team. Your role duties will include:

- Effectively and actively lead, manage and oversee a close knit team of 6 staff across Accounts Payable
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the accounts receivable and payable, including debtor management and supplier payment management
- Work with the Operational team to develop monthly cashflow forecast
- Drive process improvements within the collections & supplier payment processes
- Maintain master data eg. customers, suppliers and Purchase Orders
functions
- Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting
- Other ad hoc duties to support the team

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar leadership role, within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:

- Construction and Building industry preferred, though not essential
- Previous experience in leading a small team
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to improve staff morale
- Passion and experience in developing and executing strategies which improve business performance
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication
