In Australia, JBS is the largest protein processor and producer of meat, pork and salmon, exporter and feedlot operator with 11 plants and 4 Feedlots across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. We are a dynamic, exciting organisation with a focus on growth and continuous improvement whilst constantly offering career progression and opportunity. An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified **Maintenance Fitter **at our _Dinmore plant_.

This is a full time position with the potential to earn $60,000 - $80,000 or more with additional allowances and/or overtime.

**Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:

- Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets.
- Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
- Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems.
- Communication with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues.
- Understand and implement quality control techniques.
- Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair

**About you**:

- Mechanical trade qualifications and post-trade experience.
- Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices.
- Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Experience gained from a large heavy industry organization.
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Effective and efficient problem solving skills.
- Flexible to work rotating shifts.
