
Maintenance Specialist

As a skilled Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment. You will be responsible for providing effective maintenance and repair services to achieve high plant reliability, cost efficiency, and ensure safety and quality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and turner qualifications, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a heavy industrial environment. Press and die setting experience is highly regarded, as is experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and maximising production, responding and investigating breakdown work minimising downtime, installing new equipment and relocating existing equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement.
You will also be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures, participate in toolbox and team meetings, maintain workplace relationships, and support the training and development of apprentices through mentoring.
