Job Title: Mobile Fitter

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Fitter to fill a vacancy in Ipswich. As a Mobile Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of Telescopic Handlers (JCB and Manitou) while working directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on Telescopic Handlers (JCB and Manitou)
  • Work independently and take initiative to resolve issues
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Prioritise tasks and adapt to changing workloads under pressure
Requirements:
  • Hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a diesel mechanic
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points
  • possess strong knowledge of plant machinery
  • have good spoken and written English language skills
