**The Role**
As the APS 5 Knowledge Management Officer within Headquarters Air Warfare Centre, your duties will include the following:

- Contribute to the promulgation and enforcement of clear business rules and protocols;
- Monitor & ensure ease of access to knowledge repositories to encourage knowledge transfer throughout Defence in accordance with relevant legislation, policies & procedures;
- Demonstrate knowledge management skills to design processes, tools & structures to increase, renew, share & improve the use of knowledge within Defence;
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns to meet business objectives;
- Work collaboratively and operates as an effective team member;
- Analyse lessons learned & identify opportunities for continuous improvement for the work area;
- Accountable to allocate work, resources and tasks & set work area priorities to meet work area outcomes;
- Opportunity exists to travel in support of Defence exercises and business travel.
