**WHS Risk & Assurance Consultant**

We are looking for an experienced Workplace Health & Safety Consultant to work in our to join our team at SafetyWorks. If you’re an organised self-starter and great communicator with strong relationship building skills and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role/ relevant tertiary qualification, we’d like to hear from you

**Role Purpose**

As a WHS Risk and Assurance Consultant, you’ll contribute to projects from the initial proposal stage when we’re curious about a client’s specific needs, to go on to develop strong client relationships and considered sustainable solutions.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Interpreting and analysing client needs
- Undertaking risk and compliance audits for our clients
- Supporting health and safety risk management efforts
- Reviewing WHS Management Systems
- Facilitating groups and workshops of various sizes
- Communicating clearly through written reports and presentations
- Investigating critical incidents
- Supporting the development of client proposals

**Skills & Competencies**
- At least 5+ years in a similar role, working in or with large corporate and government organisations
- Bachelor’s degree in WHS or aligned discipline, essential.
- HSR training provider desirable but not essential.
- A sound working knowledge of WHS legislation across Australia and of WHSMS design and implementation.
- Accredited Auditor in ISO or similar standard
- Highly developed communication skills
- Experience in safety consulting would be advantageous
- Outstanding organisation and relationship building skills
