Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual support to NDIS participants, including those with high behavior needs, in line with their support plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community engagement.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment for participants.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current police check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Training completion certificate
- Evidence of your legal right to work in Australia (e.g., Citizenship Certificate, applicable visa, or birth certificate)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Current Infection Control Certificate
- A recent photo for your ID
- A scanned copy of your overseas or Australian passport

Skills and Attributes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities, particularly those with high behavior needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail

How to Apply

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $37.85 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
