**About the Team**

Transport Services is a Group within the Department of Transport, and is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and accessible transport infrastructure and services to all Victorians. Regional Transport is a Division of Transport Services, and is responsible for delivering a better transport experience connection regional communities, businesses and visitors.

**About the Opportunity**

Operating under limited direction, this roleplays a key role ensuring the Department of Transport delivers critical road projects. The role leads various activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and achieve strict quality and safety standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Leader is responsible for providing expertise for project planning, design, procurement, contract development and execution of works, surveillance; complex stakeholder engagement; coupled with effective financial management.

- Interpersonal Skills - Understand motivations, needs and wants of stakeholders and their impact on service delivery
- Strategic Planning - Ensures that day to day planning and work processes are in line with team/organisation strategy
