Our Maintenance Team are looking for a Trades Assistant to join the team on a fixed term secondment for 12months. You will be supporting the maintenance team with duties on the plant and equipment to optimise operational efficiency of the site.

Main Duties
- Undertake plant, room and equipment routine checks, including cleaning in all areas of the site
- Carry out Machine Shop and Workshop deep clean on a regular basis
- Provide support to the Maintenance Store including forklift operations
- Support preventative maintenance tasks in all areas of the site as directed by the SAP PM Maintenance Management System
- Ensure that accurate Maintenance records all completed for activities
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest relevant standards
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by complying with company instructions and processes, taking reasonable care to ensure your own safety and health and that of others, and to report any injury, hazard or illness immediately
- Positively contribute to a motivated and engaged workforce through effective communication, participation and teamwork
- Maintain the required level of skill and competencies relevant for your job role and development
- Ensure cGMP compliance by following company policies and procedures
- Complete GMP documentation to cGMP standards
- Report any deviations in processing or procedures immediately to supervisors
- Identify and participate in the implementation of Cis
- Participate in OE workshops and training
- Manage your own workload efficiently and cost effectively to supervisors

About You
- Ability to spot small issues before they turn into larger problems.
- Strong collaboration with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams.
- Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with mínimal disruption to production.
- A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the work environment is hazard-free.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
- The ability to maintain good client relations and service efficiency
