**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our team in Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our tradespeople on site. You will work closely with the tradespeople to ensure that all equipment is maintained, serviced, and repaired in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for assisting with maintenance, repair, and installation of mining equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting tradespeople with maintenance, repairs, and installations of mining equipment
Undertaking manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment
Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
Operating machinery and equipment as required
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

**Requirements**:
Previous experience as a Trades Assistant in a mining or heavy industrial environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Willingness to work in remote locations and in challenging environments
Current driver's license
