**About the role**
The Content Specialist reports to the Senior Content Designer and is responsible for delivering content initiatives and experiences to attract, retain and engage members across HCF’s owned communication channels and various business support activity. This is a 13 month maximum term contract.
**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to leverage user research and insights to produce effective copy that is high quality, understandable and aligned to brand and content standard
- Strong editor and copywriter, the Content Specialist delivers high impact, customer centric content, bringing to life the brand objectives through storytelling across various channels and formats. With a solid understanding of the content discipline and digital marketing, this role understands and applies SEO analysis and optimisation throughout the content production process. They will also liaise with internal stakeholders to assist them with their content needs and help align brand messages for use across the business
- Development and delivery of engaging digital brand experiences aligned to HCF’s brand and content strategy to maximise brand awareness and reputation, grow saliency, enhance the member experience, drive loyalty and retention
- Deliver digital content that drives growth and engagement across web, mobile and published channels.
- Act as a champion of HCF’s brand tone and voice, style guidelines and working with brand and content owners to drive innovative and effective content that increases engagement and understanding within target audiences
- Use research, data and insights to inform development and delivery of digital content. Develop and deliver content reporting, understanding key insights and trends to continually optimise and grow channel performance
- Contribute to the cross-channel content calendar to give business full visibility of activity and metrics
- Maintain a sound understanding of issues, trends and directions in digital content and the broader healthcare space
- Deliver a breadth of content and a variety of copy showcasing HCF Group’s capabilities and supporting our content strategy to drive organic growth and enhance the member experience
- Deliver a breadth of content formats to support HCF’s content strategy and business initiatives including digital edms, videos, articles, digital web content and social
- Provide content support for critical business initiatives including campaigns, product or program launches, reforms or product updates
- Develop a deep understanding of the digital channels with a focus on continual optimisation
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in content, communications or similar digital marketing role
- Tertiary qualifications in communications/marketing or related field/s
- Experience producing a variety of content in regulated environment with complex risk and approval processes
- You have strong skills and experience writing, editing, publishing and optimising digital content with a broad knowledge of content management systems and content production processes
- Solid sub-editing, fact-checking skills and unrelenting attention to detail and focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to interact effectively and build strong relationships across all levels in the business
- Ability to think independently and initiate suggestions for improvement where suitable
- Outstanding organisational and project coordination skills, including the ability to set priorities, multi task, manage time, plan work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Strong understanding of analytics, measurement and reporting
- Experience owning and implementing end to end programs or campaigns
- Passionate about brand and a willingness to take ownership.
