Are you looking for a position in a dental surgery in the Eastern Melbourne suburbs with room to further your career? A casual weekday dental assistant position is available at a well established dental practice in Hawthorn from February 2025. The dental practice is in a convenient and accessible location with excellent staff amenities. The practice performs a wide range of procedures, such as general dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnoea treatment, periodontal and implant surgery.

The position is suitable for someone looking for a role in a small, easy going and tight knit team where their self motivation, good ethics and teamwork will be appreciated. Excellent patient communication skills, a friendly nature, strong self initiative and the ability to excel in small teams is crucial to being chosen for this position.

You will ideally have 1 or more years of dental assisting experience. This includes chairside assistance and instrument sterilisation. Experience with Dental4Windows will be favourable, but not necessary for the right applicant. Certificate III in Dental Assisting qualifications is highly desired.
