A contract opportunity for a Transport Network Officer in Brisbane CBD with an attractive hourly rate.

**Your new company**
The client is a public sector organisation based in Brisbane CBD. They are looking to engage the services of an experienced Transport and Traffic professional to join their Transport Network Operations team. This role will focus on investigating and resolving high volume operational issues whilst also focusing on planning and developing quality customer focused solutions.

**Your new role**
The client has specified key accountabilities for the role which include:

- Lead with customer focused behaviour whilst also delivering high standards of service to the customers.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations, standards and guidelines, and proactively identify traffic and parking management trends, opportunities and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with team leaders in accordance with performance standards whilst also providing technical assistance, input and ideas to other team members in developing solutions.
- Maintain and Establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to optimise valued outcomes for Council
- Undertake consultation and negotiation with the community and Councillors around emerging transportation matters
- Investigate customer requests and resolve traffic network related issues.
- Provide high quality technical advice, correspondence and reports for Council, the community and other stakeholders on traffic matters and enquiries.
- Work in order to achieve targeted completion rates and take preventative action, including liaising with the Senior Traffic Network Officer.
- Ensure timely responses to customer requests and work priorities to provide high levels of responsiveness to all community and council concerns.
- Assist in the investigation, planning and implementation of local area traffic management schemes, corridor studies and street improvement projects.

The client is offering an interesting and challenging role in Brisbane’s CBD. They are offering an immediate start with the contract running until July next year with options to extend. Have suggested between $40-50 per hour plus superannuation.
