Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded. **About the role**: The APAC Funds Finance team is part of MUFG's successful APAC Securitisation team within MUFG's Asian Investment Banking Division. The team works closely with local relationship coverage teams primarily within Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand, to provide product expertise across a wide range of funds finance based structures, including subscription finance, net asset value, hybrid and other forms of facilities which utilise funds finance concepts. Being an international bank with a global funds finance footprint, MUFG's APAC Funds Finance team benefits from a global product network, leveraging information, structures, and strategies across North America, EMEA and Japan. The team completes multiple transactions per year, manages a growing portfolio of transactions, and has a mandate for further business expansion. In your role as an Associate, your role will be to enhance Funds Finance product capabilities and expertise within MUFG's Asian Investment Banking Division in APAC. **What you'll be doing**: - Supporting senior team members with the origination and execution of Funds Finance facilities provided to new and existing clients - Assisting senior team members with credit matters including credit paper construction, modelling, negotiation of terms and conditions, finalisation of documentation, arrangement and finalisation of due diligence, satisfying CPs etc - Developing effective stakeholder and working relationships (both internal and external), that support the MUFG Fund Finance product proposition - Completing general administration matters as they relate to the Funds Finance portfolio **What we are looking for**: - 3+ years of experience in banking or finance, preferably with some Funds Finance or Structure Finance experience - Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential - Masters of Finance, MBA or CFA will be considered favourably - Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and will be strong in financial modelling - Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets - The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally - Has strong interpersonal and presentations skills - Is a team player - Is a self-starter who applies initiative and has drive and enthusiasm - Has an analytical mindset and problem solving skills - Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders **Our culture**: MUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables our employees to help maximize our customers' prosperity.
