**The Role**
The Project Controller position will directly report to the EL 1 Project Controls Manager for AIR7000 Phase 2 including the P-8 Capability Assurance Program.

The position will perform complex project planning, integration, governance and assurance work with a multi-discipline team of Commonwealth and contractor personnel.

The Project Controller will lead the Governance and Assurance function for assigned project(s).

Key duties include:

- Setup appropriate frameworks to review and monitor contractor performance
- Coordinate project performance and identify the need for change
- Develop and implement project briefs and reports for senior management
- Identify risks, uncertainties and opportunities and action to improve project outcomes
- Work collaboratively, provide constructive feedback, and recommend solutions

**About our Team**
The Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) - including the P-8A Poseidon.

SRSPO also acquires and supports common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) used on air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army. We also support the MQ-4C Triton, a new remotely piloted high altitude long endurance aircraft system.

We do this to support the war fighter and achieve the Department of Defence’s strategic and operational objectives.
