**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and experienced leader to drive the strategic development and continuous improvement of our Civil Asset Maintenance Team. This role involves overseeing the successful implementation of the Civil Asset Maintenance Plans, managing budgets and ensuring optimal resource allocation across all projects. You will be required to prepare tenders and contract documentation, estimate works and prepare work schedules and provide technical support and advice. Your leadership will also include promoting a strong safety culture and adhering to environmental legislation and industry best practices.
**About You**
**To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential requirements**:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience
- Current ‘C’ Class driver’s licence
- White Card
- Extensive experience in project management including the preparation of tenders and contract documentation, briefs and project scopes
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement practices and systems
- Extensive knowledge of public liability insurance and Occupational Safety and Health principles
