**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advisor - HSE and Compliance to join our team in Kewdale, overseeing our Equipment division in Western Australia and South Australia. As the Advisor - HSE and Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the our fleet, workshop teams and stakeholders subscribe to the Toll Safety Obsessed mindset.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and support to operational teams, promoting a culture of safety and compliance across the organization. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in HSE regulations and compliance management, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Reporting to the National HSE Manager, this is a full time permanent role and will require travel across the 5 workshops in this portfolio.

As the Advisor - HSE and Compliance, you will:

- Provide expert advice, support, and training to operational teams to ensure understanding and compliance with HSE regulations, codes of practice, and company policies.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, employees, and HSE personnel, to foster a proactive HSE culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance, metrics, and trends, preparing accurate and timely reports for management review.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and legislative changes to ensure ongoing compliance and drive proactive HSE strategies.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience in HSE and Compliance positions, ideally within a maintenance environment.
- Tertiary qualification in OHS, Internal Auditor or ICAM (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
