**About us**

**The position**

We are currently seeking an experienced support coordinator to join our team to support our rapidly expanding organisation. If you’re an organised individual with excellent written and verbal skills; who enjoys a challenge and would love to make a difference in one’s life then this job is for you

The support coordinator is responsible for assisting a participant in achieving their NDIS goals through the provision of effective capacity building as well as facilitating participant engagement with a range of stakeholders, which may include but is not limited to NDIA, LAC partners, NDIS service providers as well as informal, community and mainstream supports. The coordination of relevant supports within a participant’s NDIS journey will enable positive outcomes for the participant and assist them in achieving their NDIS plan goals.

We are currently looking for a **permanent full-time support coordinator** who will fit our organizational culture as well as provide person-centred support for our clients.

**About You**
- Previous experience in a role of a similar nature, including responsibility for the management and operational oversight of a Disability Service supporting clients with a range of different needs.
- Qualification/s in Disability or Community Services.
- Brilliant communication skills, including advocacy and report writing skills.
- Experience in working with culturally diverse individuals.
- Exceptional administration skills and the ability to interpret information guides, processes, and policy documents.
- Ability to work in a very busy environment that requires adaptability, work independently and as a part of a team.
- Skills in relationship building, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining professional, individual-focused relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the risk factors experienced by individuals living with a disability.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured vehicle.
- Can provide a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s Check

This position is classified as child-related work therefore all applicants must be able to obtain a paid Working with Children check from the NSW Office of Children’s Guardian.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
