A rare opportunity to join an organisation with four diverse companies, where you will be the Head of Finance working closely with the Directors and Board to ensure the ongoing success, profitability, and financial integrity of all business units.

Each business unit is well established in their area of expertise with strong market share and continuous growth year upon year.

As the Head of Finance, you will be able to draw on your commercial and financial acumen, seeking opportunities to enhance the businesses whilst working closely with senior management.

Duties will include:

- Continuous development and management of the financial reporting including forecasting, budgets and cashflows
- Prepare insightful monthly financial analysis, reviewing profitability relating to projects and / or business activities
- Ensure the businesses have the appropriate business systems capabilities to drive growth
- Advising on short, medium and long term business and financial planning
- Establish financial operational strategies by evaluating trends and establishing critical indicators
- Execute the strategic plan to drive growth and profitability
- Coach and build business acumen with key internal stakeholders to improve understanding of financial implications of their decision making
- Prepare reports for and contribute to management and board meetings
- Adhoc projects as required

This role requires the ability to work across multiple businesses ensuring all financials are produced in an accurate and timely manner. It’s a hands on role where you will be supported by a small finance team that manage the day to day processing aspects leaving you to focus on the big picture aspects.
