Southern Cross Care QLD is seeking to appoint a highly experienced leader as the Head of Developments & Capital Planning, to be based at the conveniently located Support Office in Upper Mt. Gravatt

In this role, as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead the organisations development pipeline and capital planning in line with SCCQ organisational strategy, budgets, plans and goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be able to define and lead the implementation of SCCQ's strategic developments and capital planning methodology including lifecycle planning to ensure the serviceability of SCCQ assets and associated infrastructure for their intended purpose and the delivery of best value outcomes. Provide leadership and strategic direction across the organisation for the delivery of Seniors Living communities including Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living, Health & Wellness and other related services.

**What we need from you**:

- Bachelor Degree in Property, Construction Management, Business or Finance, or a qualification or significant experience deemed the equivalent.
- Experience in leading and implementing a Property Development & Asset Management strategy to drive business results consistent with the organisation’s objectives.
- Previous experience within a Retirement Living environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of key legislation and relevant standards and contemporary property development and asset management strategies and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of professionals, with a strong understanding of, and ability to implement, best practice policies and procedures.
- Highly developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills including influencing and negotiation skills to build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships.
- Knowledge of the Aged Care industry, and ability to bring specialist knowledge to the organisation in the context of strategy development and direction.
- Demonstrate experience in managing the successful realisation and development of projects that require substantial process, system and cultural change within cost, time and quality constraints.
- Ability to travel intra or interstate with overnight stays.
- You will need to maintain your up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations.
- NDIS workers screening clearance prior to starting.
- Right to work in Australia
