The Coordinated Client Support Branch (CCSB) manages a range of programs and services to assist vulnerable clients to navigate DVA services and connect to supports to meet their wellbeing needs. Case management offered by CCSB is collectively referred to as the Client Support Program.
The Client Support Program (CSP) is a voluntary time limited case management program, which uses a clinical lens and trauma informed approach to support clients to meet their wellbeing needs. The program aims to streamline communication between clients, their families and DVA. Case management provides clients with a single or primary point of contact for all services within DVA and facilitates access to external support services.
The Escalations and Program Management (EPM) section sits within the Coordinated Client Support Branch and carries out a range of responsibilities and initiatives.
The Escalations team is responsible for the Minister’s Office, Secretary Office and Senior Executive taskings for clients managed within CCSB with intensive support needs, or where there is a well-being concern. Case Managers within the team liaise directly with clients and provide short-term case management support.
The Program Management team provides integral support across the Branch, including the provision of divisional reporting, recruitment, centralized staff training, projects and procedural content which underpins the quality case management practice. The team coordinates the Branch quality assurance and audit program and provides broad system and communications development and support.
**Duties**
- Support the Assistant Director in the management and administration of HR and training requests for Branch staff
- Provide support related to quality assurance activities including data collation and reporting
- Identify and implement business improvement activities, including assisting with the implementation of new policies, systems and streamlined practices
- Support the delivery of strategy functions with the development and management of the Branch SharePoint Site
- Maintain and administer Branch documents through efficient maintenance of document tracking and registers
- Assist with the preparation for meetings and engagement forums
- Engage and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders, clients and providers
- Work collaboratively with other sections in the Branch and Division to provide guidance and advice on a range of program management projects
- Escalate high risk and high-profile issues to line management and/or the Escalations team.
**Eligibility**
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to DVA offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance. The screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.
