We are an established medicolegal team located in Sydney CBD offering independent medical opinions to our nationally based clients. We are seeking a full time Medical Report Quality Assurance Manager to join and lead our experienced Quality Assurance team.

Medico-Legal Specialists are part of the Navigator Group, a group of companies that are leaders in physical and psychological injury management and medical assessment. MLS has a broad range of specialists that assess clients and produce reports answering medical questions.

The quality assurance team review the specialist medical reports to ensure we are delivering clear, accurate and timely medical opinions to our clients. The applicant will be a vibrant and energetic person, who has supervisory experience with an exceptional attention to detail.

As Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for:

- Management of our dedicated Quality Assurance team
- Proofreading and editing reports received from doctors to ensure quality of reports are meeting business and individual client service level requirements
- Liaising with doctors, doctors’ secretaries, typists, case managers and solicitors to produce reports, manage queries or making amendments
- Report distribution, ensuring it is completed within the required timeframe
- Speak with customers regarding reports and resolve queries
- Management of feedback regarding reports and/or doctors
- File management & archiving
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions
- Have experience of interpreting or reviewing complex medical reports within an insurance environment context, or experience in a specialist medical practice or within personal injury management and/or claims handling
- Be professional, well presented and personable with excellent customer service skills
- Have previous experience as a quality assurance reviewer within a medical context, or experience in a specialist medical practice or within personal injury management and/or claims handling
- Have an exceptional attention to detail
- Be organised and have excellent time management skills
- Have strong IT skills - specifically highly proficient with Microsoft Word
- Ideally have prior people management experience including managing workflow
- Ideally have knowledge and understanding of personal injury insurance schemes

As there is interaction amongst the team and visiting doctors, this role requires the ability to work from the Sydney CBD office 2-3 days per week. WFH is available on other days.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus

Daily cleaning within the office. No contact with external customers.
