**Job Title: Duty Manager**

**Overview**:
As a Duty Manager at our restaurant, you'll be the linchpin ensuring smooth operations during your shift. You'll oversee various aspects, from managing staff and handling customer inquiries to maintaining standards and resolving issues promptly. **Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership**:

- Lead and motivate restaurant staff, ensuring everyone understands their roles and performs efficiently.
- Delegate tasks effectively, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to staff as needed, ensuring high morale and productivity.

2. **Operational Management**:

- Manage day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures and inventory management.
- Address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

3. **Customer Service**:

- Interact with customers to address inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, exceeding expectations whenever possible.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.

4. **Safety and Security**:

- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergencies as needed.

5. **Administrative Tasks**:

- Complete administrative duties accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous managerial experience in the restaurant industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solve effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications in hospitality management a plus.
