**The Role**
As a **Team Leader** at Cali Press, you’ll support the store in delivering outstanding service and upholding our high standards. You’ll work closely with the management team to ensure the cafe runs smoothly, inspire your colleagues, and contribute to a fun and inclusive team culture. Your leadership will help ensure we hit our targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead by Example**: Support the team in day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- **Customer Experience**: Provide excellent, friendly service and resolve any customer concerns promptly
- **Team Development**: Help train, mentor, and motivate your team members, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
- **Operational Support**: Assist with stock management, daily tasks, and ensure café operational standards are met
- **Collaboration**: Work alongside the Store Manager to help achieve sales goals, improve store processes, and support team initiatives
- **Safety and Quality**: Uphold safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe work environment and consistent product delivery
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable
- Passion for health and nutrition
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to motivate and inspire your team while ensuring a high level of efficiency
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- A commitment to maintaining high operational and safety standards

**Individual Requirements**
- Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a team leader
- Barista experience highly desirable
- Full responsibility over financial and store management
- Strong customer interaction skills with the ability to provide customers with personable, friendly and knowledgeable service
- Must be able to mentor and have a great leadership approach
- Must thrive in a fast paced environment and work as team
- Ability to ensure product consistency, maintain cafe operational standards and complete daily tasks, ordering and rostering
- Ability to train and mentor your team members
- Experience and Interest in health and nutrition is essentials
