Right to Care provides a range of services to people with Aged and Disability From daily activities and community participation. A range of services enables our clients to feel more inclusive, self-dependant and participate in society.

About the role:
The Disability Support worker is the critical front-line operational role for promoting independence to maximise the living, social, and recreational opportunities of participants with a disability. Community inclusion, independence, decision-making and personal choices should be encouraged to be tailored support strategies focused on individual needs. All service deliveries must comply with the policies and procedures of Right to Care and the requirement of disability standards.

**Philippines or Thai Nationality female support worker is preferable**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability
- Support the client in community participation programs.
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care
- Manual handling, including hoist transfers - manual, electric / assisted standing
- Medication assistance
- Assist with meal preparation
- Management of challenging behaviours
- Maintaining records of client progress

**Requirements**:

- **Philippines or Thai Nationality female support worker is preferable.**:

- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- The ability to support participants in achieving social and self-care goals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- First Aid and CPR
- Manual Handling Training Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- Police Clearance
- Current WWCC
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Own Vehicle
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability/Aged Care, or equivalent qualification (Preferable)
- Good fit in Castle Hill Area.
