Stakeholder and Communications Advisor

**Full Time Permanent Position**

**Band 7 - Salary Range $106,626 to $119,182 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO**

**Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.**

**The Opportunity**

To meet the needs of our community, we have an ambitious capital delivery program including road upgrades, new community centres and recreation reserve upgrades.
The Stakeholder and Communications Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing communications and engagement plans to support the successful delivery of capital projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement stakeholder and communications activities throughout various stages of major infrastructure construction projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholder groups, residents, businesses, community representatives and government agencies.
- Act as the stakeholder point of contact for major infrastructure construction projects, including preparing and overseeing responses to project related correspondence.
- Provide strategic communications and stakeholder advice to project team members.
- Provide regular updates and milestone reports to internal and external stakeholders.

**About you**

**_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as communications, community engagement, media or journalism with several years of subsequent relevant experience or lesser formal qualification with extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic communication plans for large-scale projects.
- Experience in managing communication projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Valid White Card (construction induction card).
