**About The role**:
This newly created role will be a key focal point to
**become the productivity ‘expert’ for Elgas**. You will
**develop the capability** of personnel and support the General Managers and their teams to
**drive productivity** initiatives within their areas, whilst contributing to the overall performance of Elgas.

**This role may be based in North Ryde (NSW)**
**or**
**Mulgrave (VIC)** and offers a
**hybrid work arrangement** and would require initial travel to regional sites.

This role would suit an
**influential communicator **who can
**drive growth and productivity** and possesses
**change management experience**
**improving culture** and not just operations across the whole of organisation.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage the productivity program for Elgas.
- Identify, develop and execute productivity plans working with GM/RM.
- Conduct training as appropriate on key productivity tools for staff across Elgas to build continuous improvement capability and mindset across the organisation.
- Assist part time resources and process owners in identifying key pain areas and process improvement.
- Facilitate & drive specific projects.
- Track and report on the progress of projects through Powersteering ensuring maximum value extracted.
- Monthly productivity reporting.
- Run and facilitate productivity boost / identification sessions / exercises to identify new opportunities for productivity improvement.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- University degree in Engineering, Operations or Business.
- Demonstrated operations / business management experience with a focus on implementing continuous improvement / lean manufacturing.
- Trained in Operations / Business Excellence tools like Lean, Agile, Innovation, Design Thinking or equivalent to Six Sigma, preferably a Black belt or Lean specialisation.
- Project / program management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation / training skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills.
