An exciting opportunity exists for a Hub Manager on an Ongoing: Full-time basis in The Orange Door, Barwon.
The Operations Unit establishes, leads and develops the operations of The Orange Door and the Central Information Point, ensuring a focus on client outcomes, local area context, issues and strengths, continuous improvement in service quality and performance, effective resource management and ensuring that the services are delivering on Victoria's reform agenda for family violence and child and family services. The Branch delivers this through partnership with government, sector and agency partners at a statewide and area level.
Hubs will bring together different workforces and practices to create an integrated Hub team and a consolidated intake point in each Hub area to create a new way of support for:
- women, children, young people and families experiencing family violence
- perpetrators of family violence
- families in need of support with the care, development and well-being of children.
The Orange Door Manager is a strategic and operational leadership position in each Support and Safety Hub. The Orange Door team will include a combination of staff employed by Family Safety Victoria (FSV), Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), Community Service Organisations (CSOs) and Aboriginal Services. Within this context, the Hub Manager will be responsible for managing the FSV staff in The Orange Door, including The Orange Door Support team and the Service System Navigator. The Hub Manager will also provide day-to-day operational leadership and support to The Orange Door Team, including Team Leaders, Practitioners and Practice Leaders, noting they will not have line management responsibility for these workers.
