**Location**:Cooma NSW
- **Position**:Ongoing, Full-Time

**Salary**:Clerk Grade 5/6 - $97,027.00 p.a. plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

- As a Case Management Officer, you’ll play a critical role in the rehabilitation and reintegration of people in custody. Using evidence-based practices, you will support offenders to address the underlying causes of their offending, build life skills, and prepare for successful re-entry into the community.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to combine frontline impact with professional development—contributing directly to public safety while shaping positive outcomes for individuals navigating the correctional system.

**What you’ll do**
- Deliver end-to-end case management services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and operational procedures
- Conduct offender assessments to identify risks, needs, and strengths
- Develop and implement personalised case plans using a strengths-based and motivational approach
- Refer individuals to relevant programs and services that support rehabilitation goals
- Monitor and document progress against case plans, ensuring judicial and operational compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to support reintegration outcomes upon release.

**What we’re looking for**
- Practical experience in case management or human services
- Confidence working with individuals with complex needs
- Skilled in risk assessment and behavioural intervention
- Understanding of offender rehabilitation principles and the justice system
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a custodial

**Essential Requirements**
- Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (or willingness to complete via Corrective Services Academy)
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in psychology, social work, criminology, or a related human services field
