Position: Technical Lead-Redshift

Location: Sydney

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Experience in Redshift design review processes and resolved technical problems.
- Experience in query tuning and optimization, designing Sort and Distribution keys.
- Experience in processing design optimal queries to aggregate data and build reports or data feeds for downstream sources.
- Experience in serving Redshift Data to other sources.
- Having strong SQL skills, data types, and AWS ecosystem components.
- Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems
- Strong, high performance SQL coding skills
- Strong Unix o/s background
- Strong understanding of MPP databases (specifically Netezza and/or Redshift)
- Proficient with our code management tools, Stash, Bitbucket and Source Tree
- Understanding of different data models, structures optimised for different tools and uses
- Experience of test-driven development
- Ability to adopt Suncorp’s CI/CD, CM practices

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $550.00 - $600.00 per day
