**Job Title: Medical Receptionist**

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, proactive, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic and welcoming team.

Initial contacted hours would be approximately 8-16 hours per week, with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts and/or additional contracted hours.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients warmly and assist with their check-in process.
- Manage patient bookings and appointments, both in-person and over the phone.
- Handle payments, HICAPS, Medicare claims, and banking reconciliation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold a high level of integrity.
- Provide efficient administrative support to the medical team.
- Multitask and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless operations.
- Essential_
- Has strong computer skills and is comfortable using a variety of office systems.
- Displays empathy and a patient-centered focus, and a positive attitude towards both staff and patients.
- Possesses excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Is reliable, adaptable, and a team player.
- Is willing to cover shifts as required (including weekends and public holidays as needed).
- Preferred_
- Has previous experience in a general practice setting.
- Is familiar with Medical Director and Pracsoft software.
