**Payroll Specialist**:

- **9 month fixed term contract**:

- **50% systems administrator | 50% payroll BAU**:

- **Experienced Payroll professional, Preceda experience is essential along with BAU full function payroll processing - hybrid working.**

My client is an established national business, based just outside of Sydney CBD.
We are recruiting for a 9 month fixed term contract, this person will will be working a split role focusing 50% of their time across the Payroll platform Preceda and the other 50% of the time across business as usual, payroll processing (full function).
They are offered a hybrid working environment (3 days office based, 2 days work from home).

You will be joining a hard working collaborative payroll team.
Salary on offer is $112,000 including super.

**Core duties in the role (not limited to)**:

- Participate in regular payroll transformation project work
- Coordinating and performing testing, deployment and support for all payroll related programs
- Provide support and cover for Time In Attendance staff to ensure timely and efficient processing of fortnightly payroll
- Develop and implement timely and accurate payroll reporting tools, delivering training where necessary to all staff, promoting continuous service improvement initiatives for a high quality and client focused payroll service
- Using analytical skills, monitor data integrity and undertake comprehensive investigations on complex payroll issues and identified data errors/anomalies
- Month End responsibilities including payroll tax, PAYG, leave provisions, superannuation, account reconciliation and reporting
- Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to identify appropriate opportunities for continuous improvement of payroll services, processes and procedures

**Experience required**:

- Experience in full function payroll processing
- Experience in using **Preceda **as a payroll platform and experience in systems admin
- Award and EBA interpretation experience
- Able to partner with different stakeholders across the business
- Working rights in Australia
