**Position Information**:
Woronora River Public School is a small school located next to the beautiful Woronora River in the Sutherland Shire. The staff are passionate about building and maintaining continuous improvement that is focused on teaching with precision in every classroom for increased growth and achievement of every student. Current enrolments fluctuate between 60-80 students.

Woronora River Public School provides a comprehensive student welfare program including the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework. - Outstanding capacity to inspire and model highly effective educational practices and continuous improvement, and foster innovative, future focused teaching and learning, including diverse curriculum opportunities and pathways for all students
- Proven ability to lead Aboriginal Education across the school and community and ensure Aboriginal Histories and Cultures are authentically embedded by staff across all teaching and learning programs
- Outstanding capacity to implement inclusive evidence-based wellbeing practices for the whole school community

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education

2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community

4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning

5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning

6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
