**Restaurant Hosts - Reception - Maitre D**
Located on the rooftop of Customs House, Cafe Sydney offers spectacular views, delicious food & first class service. We currently require an experienced Host/Maitre D/ Reception staff to join our dedicated team on a **full time basis (38+ hours per week) or part time basis (20+ hours per week)**

**Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Ensuring efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintaining high production, productivity and quality.
- Setting and arranging tables
- Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
- Taking water orders and relaying the customer to their dedicated waiter
- Assisting serving food and beverages
- Assisting clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
- Assisting removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
- Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines

**Requirements of the role**
- Ability to work full time, at least **38 hours per week**:

- A minimum of **2 years experience** working with reservations / FOH in a **high-end, high volume, a la carte restaurant**:

- To be dedicated to providing our clients with an excellent dining experience
- Have great personal appearance, exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with Sevenrooms reservation software

Salary - $58 000+
- Please note the venue is currently closed. The role will have a start date the week of the 14th August._
