Our individualised approach matches our Support Workers to the personalities, goals and expectations of our Members.

We are seeking female support workers that can support one Cam Can members that live with Intellectual Disabilities in the PORT KENNEDY area. We are searching for a dedicated, caring and skilful team who will be able to support this member across the week as our member's needs support morning, evening and throughout the day, 7 days per week.

Flexibility is a must within this role.

The position would ideally suit someone who is resilient, patient, caring and kind, and can stay calm during challenging situations. We are looking for people who are interested in making a difference, consistent, reliable and can commit to providing quality support. You will have had experience in, and be able to demonstrate, a proactive and engaging style of support, display initiative and have excellent communication capability.

As the successful applicant, you will ideally have experience in working with challenging behaviours and be able to work within a positive behaviour framework. It is highly desirable to have an understanding of, and experience in working with adults whom have complex needs. You will need to be someone who works well under pressure and who also has the ability to follow a plan and maintain boundaries.

You will need to draw on your past experience for your ability to navigate challenging behaviours or escalations in a measured and professional manner at all times. All new support workers will be provided with an extended, person-centred orientation and mentor arrangement.

**Salary**: $33.00 - $70.06 per hour
