**About the role**:
Nalco Water, an Ecolab division, provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions, with a customer base that includes major ANZ businesses across a variety of industry sectors.
Reporting to the District Manager, and based in Perth, your technical and commercial activities will involve leading a dedicated team, as well as developing strong client relationships by driving value added & focused service delivery.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Manage and develop the current client base within the region, leveraging our strong client relationships and driving service delivery.
- Develop your team’s capability through coaching and professional development.
- With your team, devising a business development strategy to maximise new account opportunities, for both process treatment and water treatment.
- Assisting with the troubleshooting of technical problems in a timely manner to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.
**By nature, you will demonstrate**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal & external customers
- Leadership, with the ability to develop your people, to succeed and continue learning and developing
- Good mechanical aptitude, delivering a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value
- High commitment to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Quality.
**Technically, you will ideally have**:
- Background or exposure to water/process treatment and operations experience
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and strong mechanical and technical problem-solving ability.
- A driver’s license
- Strong business acumen and technical skills that will allow you to provide value to your customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Accomplished communication ability
The ability to travel, with up to 5 overnight stays per month, will be a prerequisite.
