**Downer are seeking an Environment and Sustainability Graduate to participate in our new graduate program**

The Downer Utilities Graduate Program is an exciting 2-year postgraduate development and training opportunity designed to provide hands on experience to graduates and kick-start their career as an environment and sustainability professional.

Downer Utilities works across Australia and New Zealand to provide the essential services that connect people and services. We provide a range of end-to-end services and solutions for the utilities sector, encompassing power and gas networks, waste and wastewater, telecommunications, metering services, and power, transmission and renewable construction.

**This position is mainly based in Milton - Brisbane however as this role is FIFO we encourage applicants from all over Australia to apply**

**KEY ELEMENTS OF THE PROGRAM**:

- Hands on experience, working on-site on major projects.
- Participate in at least 2 project placements.
- Undertake targeted training to develop core key competencies.
- Participate in environmental planning for upcoming major projects.
- Self-paced learning, supported by our experienced environment and sustainability team.

***ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA**:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science or similar related degree.
- Full-time work experience not required, although internships and undergraduate experience is highly sought after.
- Flexible and adaptive to change - Desire to work across regional construction sites on a fly-in fly-out (FIFO) or drive-in drive-out (DIDO) basis. Typical roster is 3 weeks on site, 1 week at home.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
