**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategically lead the logistics function, ensuring your team aligns with company-wide objectives.
- Strengthen supply chain relationships across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, coordinating the operational beat across daily, weekly, and monthly timelines.
- Take ownership of critical logistics partnerships, including 3PL, manufacturers, transporters, and on-site vendors.
- Champion the safety, quality, and compliance agenda of highly regulated facilities, liaising with regulatory bodies.
- Manage a transport organisation that is responsive, flexible, and consistently meeting the ‘speed to market’ needs of the business at the right cost, managing long ocean lead times to short customer lead times.

**The experience we're looking for**:

- Experienced within FMCG or Consumer Goods industry.
- Solid experience in freight operations both in and/ or out, and the ability to blend commercial insight with technical expertise.
- Skills in continuous improvement, financial stewardship, and team development.
- A successful track record of working within the supply chain community and with external partners.
- Leadership qualities that encourage ownership and a sense of responsibility.
- An understanding of key performance indicators in service delivery, along with proficiency in data analytics and supply chain planning.
- People Management skills.
- Experienced in SAP & Transport management systems (OTM highly desirable)
- Experienced in ocean freight.
