**Executive Manager, Credit Policy Governance**

**How will I help?**
As an Executive Manager, Credit Policy Governance, you will help in driving the uplift of governance practices within the context of our overarching Credit Risk Management Framework and Strategy. The role requires putting in place practices that will help manage, uplift and improve our overarching control framework. This includes monitoring and reporting, policy publishing practices, stakeholder communication and training.
You will also be required to provide policy advice and support the effective implementation of frameworks and policies
**Some of the key accountabilities are**:
- Development, review and maintenance of key frameworks including: Credit Risk Management Framework, Credit Risk Management Strategy, Credit Risk Appetite Statement, Credit Approval Authority Limit (CAL) Framework, Policy Exceptions Framework, and Hindsighting Framework
- Managing the overall governance framework across Group Credit Policy including but not limited to: developing, maintaining, evaluating and testing key controls impacting the credit policy function, CAL management (credit approval authority limit) and annual review.
- Contributing to Credit Policy’s compliance and supporting the Group's overall compliance with regulatory prudential standards
- Communicating credit policy changes including impacts and rationale to stakeholders

**What do I need?**
- Extensive experience in credit risk policy, and risk governance development and implementation
- Strong experience in people management
- Knowledge of APRA’S prudential regulations (advantageous)
- Advanced writing skills including attention to detail and accuracy and ability to convert complex technical content into simple and unambiguous statements
- Exceptional time management and planning, and ability to respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
