APG Workforce are currently looking for an experienced
**Maintenance Manager.** We have a great opportunity for a
**permanent full time** role based within our clients further processing poultry plant in Beresfield, Newcastle NSW where the likes of chicken nuggets, pop corn chicken and other house hold cooked poultry products are created

**The Role**:
With sites poultry production operations running 24/7, we are looking for a person with high end people management skills and most of all experienced in leading a successful site maintenance team. You would report daily to the site manager and expected to comply with the company’s safety policies, manage and lead the maintenance team, legal requirements, budgeting and expenditure, scheduling, fixing and solve onsite problems.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years in a supervisory role
- Ability to manage budgets
- Proactive in total asset life cycle management
- Understanding food safety protocols and willingness to drive requirements to staff
- Ensuring safety standards are met and machine safety is a core value of the team
- Managing the sites preventative maintenance program and ensuring work is completed as required
- Identifying continual improvement opportunities throughout the site and production processes
- Ability to manage multi discipline teams
- Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
