**About the Role**:
We are seeking an Associate Lecturer to teach in the CAS Bachelor of Allied Science Course, specifically in the Indigenous Community Management & Development units and Mental Health Principles and Practices. In this role, you will teach across several units, imparting Indigenous cultural knowledge/s and understandings to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. For example, you will cover topics such as Indigenous Cultures and Health Behaviours, as well as Business and Science.

**Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to**:

- Deliver high-quality teaching and student support.
- Focus on continuous improvement and innovation in teaching.
- Identify and address student learning needs.
- Integrate research into teaching practices.
- Conduct engaging learning activities in various formats.
- Participate in outreach and community engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum design and innovation.
- Collaborate with colleagues for cohesive course delivery.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively as well as a commitment to reflective improvement in teaching delivery.
- An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to contribute to scholarship in teaching through participation in teaching and learning strategies and in professional development in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to curriculum review and renewal.
- Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.

**Desirable**
- Progress towards a doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (or equivalent in relevant discipline).
