**Surveying Support Technician**

Sitech (WA) Pty Ltd is Western Australia's premier Trimble GPS Machine Control and Site Positioning supplier for the mining, marine and construction industries. We work closely with some of the largest Mining Companies and Construction Contractors in Australia and provide cost effective, innovative solutions to enable these contractors to be more efficient, productive and competitive in their industry.

**Duties**:
Configuration and commissioning of GPS Base stations.
Configuration and commissioning of Total Stations.
Provide training to surveyors, operators & supervisors.
Service and support of installed systems.
Troubleshooting of clients systems in a timely manner.
Support of surveying/geospatial data & its creation.
Liaising with surveyors, site supervisors and maintenance personnel.
Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
Maintain a neat and tidy service vehicle.
Present yourself professionally to the customer at all times.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:
Previous machine control support experience required.
Exposure or experience with Trimble/Sitech products highly desirable.
Experience of correction based GPS systems.
Experience with Total Stations, their functionality & use.
Good computing skills and/or networking basics.
Be a good communicator & have good problem solving skills.
Be a team player with good communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to travel to remote locations to work either autonomously or within a team.
Maintain a neat and tidy work ethic.
Be reliable and punctual.

There is the potential to earn above the base salary with overtime & remote site work. A fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $109,999.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Osborne Park, WA 6017: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
